Seems like there’s more to the story as a new chapter is to be added soon! As the movie “Quintessential Quintuplets“ will premiere on May 20, 2022, in Japan, viewers who watched the film will receive a bonus chapter that takes place after the official ending of the manga series.

Neji Haruba’s “The Quintessential Quintuplets” manga series ended in chapter 122 but makes a comeback with a special bonus chapter. Kodansha has serialized the manga from 2017 up until 2020. In 2019, it received an anime adaptation by Tezuka Productions while Season 2 of the series which premiered in 2021, was handled by Bibury Animation Studios, the same studio that is making the movie.
The bonus (Volume 14.5) is numbered Chapter 122+1, titled as “Itsutsugo-chan wa Himitsu wo Gotoubun Dekinai” and will be 24 pages long. The new chapter will also be published in the Weekly Shonen Magazine on May 18th. For international fans outside of Japan though, an official English language is still to be announced.
