‘Suzume Movie’ lands in Philippine cinemas, fan screening starts March 4
Your Name director Makoto Shinkai returns with another enthralling enigma.

While the Philippine theatrical release of Makoto Shinkai’s highly anticipated anime film Suzume Movie is right around the corner, local film exhibitor SM Cinema earlier today announced an exclusive premiere date for fans to watch out for set on March 4 — that’s three days earlier than the film’s general release on March 8. The announcement was posted on SM Cinema’s Facebook page.

The only tier for the early screenings of the film sells out at PHP 1,200 on SM Megamall with special fan inclusions including an A2-sized poster, a door hanger, and a t-shirt. Anime fans can now head over to the SM Cinema website to book movie tickets.

Suzume follows the story of Suzume, a 17-year-old girl who finds herself in a journey with a mysterious young man across Japan to close a series of doors that bring disasters.
