The official Twitter handle of Netflix (@netflix) recently announced the season two release date of the much-anticipated, hit live-action series Alice in Borderland, which is set to broadcast on December 22. The announcement came along with an accompanying teaser trailer that is now visible on the platform’s YouTube channels.
The new installment retains the same cast as the first season, with new cast members including Yuri Tsunematsu as high school student Heiya, Tomohisa Yamashita as “King of Clubs” Kyūma, Hayato Isomura as Banda, Kai Inowaki as Matsushita, Katsuya Maiguma as Yaba, and Honami Satō as Kotoko.
Alice in Borderland tells the story of a game-obsessed Arisu who hangs out with his sidekicks Chōta and Karube, only to find themselves in a dystopian version of Tokyo. The second season picks up where the first season left off.
The first season of Alice in Borderland is currently streaming on Netflix, while the second season will start premiering on December 22, 2022.
