Like it or not. Day to day life is pretty monotonous for the lot of us. Long gone are the days of exploring the areas that weren’t filled on a map, and the days of exploring the stars are still hundreds of years away. Sometimes we just need a bit of escapism to wind down and see things that unfortunately are beyond our grasp.   There’s a hypothesis that postulates that if enough people believe something, it’s true. Well, if that’s the case; should truck-kun ever use you as a speed bump there’s a high chance you’ll be living that isekai life. That’s why you should always make sure to clear your browsing history before leaving home, all the anime elf R18 stuff might make people think of you differently after you’re gone. Like fantasy, isekai is all about escapism, it’s about getting truly novel second chance at things. If you’re a fan these these show are for you;

True love is so appealing. Having someone accept you for who you are and then shower you with affection is something most people include in their life’s overall dream. But even if one’s not too keen on being part of something like that, most of us still like to look at the world. Well romance junkies, fall has you covered too;

Sci-fi as a genre has excited for over a hundred years, once these stories took guess at what life would be like in our current timeline, nowadays they look into the future or re-imagine human life as a whole. While a few action shows delve into sci-fi themes, these two make it their main selling point. If you’re a fan of the genre, these may be to your liking.

  • Bullbuster – Airing October 4th (Mecha)
  • FLCL Shoegaze – Airing September 30th
FLCL Shoegaze (Production I.G/Nut)  -  Bullbuster (Nut)

Life’s more hectic now than it’s ever been. Across the globe; stress, burnout, and general dissatisfaction with life are at all time highs. Even if we’d like a more laid back life, its just not possible for some of us. And when that is the case, some good old fashion escapism never lets us down. Unlike the world altering stories of isekais and fantasy shows, slice of life shows are almost always grounded in reality. There’s not much to them, but that’s the point. After all, to quote Souichirou Koharu, “Achieving normal happiness is the hardest thing to do”. If you’d like a laid back show, to help you forget about life’s struggles, then look no further than;

There’s something about sports that bring out both the best and the worst in us. Competition is healthy but at times it can be obsessive and the road to the top is never an easy one to walk. If you’re looking for sport based anime, then look no further than;
