Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc reveals new trailer, premieres this April

 

As reported by Anime Corner, Aniplex held its special program earlier today on YouTube, revealing additional details to its previous announcement regarding the worldwide theatrical release of Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc. The said program featured a new trailer with a confirmed premiere date set on April 9.

The special program also revealed that MAN WITH A MISSION and milet are performing the opening theme song titled “Kizuna no Kiseki” in the brand-new installment. It was also said, though not in the program, that the first episode will be an hour-long special.

The new Swordsmith Village Arc trailer is available on the anime’s official Twitter account which can be seen below.

In addition, a new key visual was also revealed.

According to Crunchyroll, Demon Slayer has a synopsis of:

“It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.”
