'2.5 Dimensional Seduction' anime adaptation gets first preview video, key visual

The anime adaptation of Yu Hashimoto's '2.5 Dimensional Seduction' manga received its first preview video earlier today, as revealed on the upcoming anime's official website (via Anime News Network). The anime adaptation was initially announced in late 2022 and now it's finally set to broadcast on Japanese TV with a 2024 premiere year.

A new accompanying key visual for the anime was also revealed.

The cast for the '2.5 Dimensional Seduction' anime includes Junya Enoki as Masamune Okumura, Kaori Maeda as Ririsa Amano, and Akari Kitō as Mikari Tachibana. Hideki Okamoto will be directing the anime at J.C. Staff and Takao Yoshioka will be handling the series' composition. Tomoyuki Shitaya will be in charge of character designs and Hiroaki Tsutsumi for music composition.

According to Seven Seas, '2.5 Dimensional Seduction' has a synopsis of:

“I have no interest in real girls!” So claims Okumura, the president of the school’s manga club. He’s your typical otaku, obsessed with a sexy (fictional) 2D manga character known as Liliel. Then the new school year starts, and a (real!) 3D girl named Lilysa whose passion is cosplay joins the club. Lilysa convinces Okumura to become her photographer–and guess who her favorite manga character is? Not only that, but Lilysa is into modeling the fetishy stuff! The boundaries between 2D and 3D start to blur as this hot-blooded romantic comedy unfolds
