'The Quintessential Quintuplets~ Special' gets anime opening video, premieres this summer

 

A new opening theme for 'The Quintessential Quintuplets~' anime TV special has been released earlier today on the TBS Animation YouTube channel. The short creditless video features the song "Gotoubun no Mirai" which is sung throughout the intro by the Nakano sisters, "Nakanoke no Itsutsugo." The TV-sized music video can be seen below.

Animated by Studio SHAFT, 'The Quintessential Quintuplets~ Special' anime covers side stories that didn't make it to the past installments, including the movie. The anime special is expected to premiere this summer, while it already has seen theatrical screenings on July 14.
