Crunchyroll is set to expand its offerings beyond anime with the launch of its new manga app, Crunchyroll Manga, scheduled for October 9, 2025, in the U.S. and Canada. This standalone app aims to provide an immersive, ad-free reading experience for manga enthusiasts, featuring a diverse library of titles from renowned publishers.


A Rich Library of Titles

Crunchyroll Manga will debut with a robust selection of popular and critically acclaimed series, including:

  • One Piece
  • Jujutsu Kaisen
  • My Dress-Up Darling
  • Delicious in Dungeon
  • Daemons of the Shadow Realm
  • The Summer Hikaru Died
  • Lycoris Recoil

The app will feature works from major publishers such as VIZ Media, Square Enix, Yen Press, AlphaPolis, and COMPASS, with additional publishers like Shueisha and J-Novel Club expected to join later. Notably, Crunchyroll Manga will include titles that have never been available in digital format before, offering fans access to previously hard-to-find series. 

Subscription Details

Crunchyroll Manga will be available as a separate app but will integrate with Crunchyroll’s existing subscription service. Ultimate Fan tier subscribers will have access to the manga app included in their subscription. Other users can access the manga app as a $4 monthly add-on.

The app will be available on iOS and Android platforms starting October 9, 2025, with a web version launching on October 15, 2025. Crunchyroll Manga aims to provide a seamless connection between anime and manga, enhancing the overall anime lifestyle experience for fans. Features will include a personalized reading list, offline reading capabilities, and support for two-page spreads, allowing for a more immersive reading experience.
