The World's Finest Assassin Season 2 Reveals New Teaser Visual

The broadcast of the TV anime "The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat" Season 2 has been confirmed for 2027. A teaser visual and a Season 1 recap PV have been released.

This work is an assassin's fantasy where the world's greatest assassin is reincarnated into another world to take on a mission from a goddess to "kill the Hero who brings disaster to humanity." In Season 2, the new assassination plots and activities of Lugh and his companions will be depicted.

The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat is a Japanese light novel series written by Rui Tsukiyo and illustrated by Reia. It began publication online in 2018 on the user-generated novel platform Kakuyomu before being acquired and published in print by Kadokawa under the Sneaker Bunko imprint. The series is licensed in English by Yen Press.

The series was adapted into an anime produced by SILVER LINK., which aired from October to December 2021. A second season has been announced and is currently scheduled for release in 2027.

When the world's greatest assassin is reborn in another world, he is tasked with a mission unlike any before—eliminate a hero destined to bring destruction. Armed with his past life’s knowledge and skills, he begins a new life as Lugh Tuatha Dé, navigating a world of magic, nobility, and deadly intrigue.
